The post Pokemon GO Zapdos Day announced with A shiny Zapdos and Thunder Shock appeared first on PokéWreck.
]]>Players will have a chance to catch themselves a Shiny Zapdos with Thunder Shock on the appropriately named Zapdos Day, July 21.
Announced by Niantic, the next themed Raid Day for Pokemon Go is the Zapdos Raid Day – which will of course give trainers the chance to catch the electric-style Legendary Bird Pokemon that made its debut in Pokemon’s Gen I
The chances of having a Shiny Zapdos on the Raid window is what make this oppurtunity really really rare for the trainers across the globe. The Pokemon Go Zapdos Raid Day will take place on July 21 – that’s next Saturday – and it kicking off depends on if the players participating in Pokemon GO Fest complete certain tasks set by Professor Willow. If they succeed, Zapdos day is going ahead.

What makes this special Zapdos from Raid Day stand out is Thunder Shock. Shiny or not, the guarantee of getting a Zapdos with Thunder Shock makes participating in this event worthwhile. Thunder Shock has a great potential Damage Per Second – around 10 DPS (which is better than the regular zapdos and makes catching the zapdos even more worth it)– and when paired with Thunderbolt or Zap Cannon it can make for the optimum Zapdos setup. As such, it’s definitely worth trying to nab a Shiny Zapdos.
That’s it for now.
Stay tuned for further updates.

]]>Niantic is getting rid of Pokémon Go cheaters with a pretty effective crusade: Deleting their illegally-obtained Pocket Monsters.
The Japanese Pokémon Go Twitter account announced that it would soon be taking some sort of measure to keep the game “fun and fair,” and in this case it seems that means combating anyone who attempts to cheat.
These Pokemon can’t be used, making them useless. One Twitter user helpfully shared what this looks like:

A few Hours later, Niantic official Account NianticHelp shared a similar tweet!

In case you were wondering about the “Pokémon will appear slashed and behave as expected” part of the first tweet, here’s what we know about slashed Pokémon:
Pokemon Go players can also look forward to Pokemon Go Fest, set for mid-July.

]]>Pokemon go has been around for almost 2 years and the players are constantly striving to make the best of the available resources to them be it stardust, candies, pokeballs, etc and over these 2 years we have learned alot of things about the available resources in the game.
Gladly, the community is full of players who love to min max, do a ton of calculations, and share their findings with the rest of the world.

Agreeable that using a crazy amount of stardust is a little risky but it isnt going to do any good to the trainer sitting there idle. With the help of this infopic trainers can know what they are getting in for when they decide to start hitting Power Up for a particular monster.
Thats it for now!

]]>The post Theory: Niantic’s Pattern reveal Probable Next Community day Pokemon appeared first on PokéWreck.
]]>Community days are one of the best events that Niantic has given the fans and we wish that they continue this trend in the upcoming years as well, Niantic ‘unleashes’ the shiny forms of that specific Pokemon and its evolutions, which makes the event more fun, but here’s what is most intriguing about the post from the looks of it we might know how Niantic chooses its Community day Pokemon.
Pokemon Go players have seen five Community Day events, one for each month:
| January | Pikachu | |
| February | Dratini | |
| March | Bulbasaur | |
| April | Mareep | |
| May 19 | Charmander | |
| June 16 | Lavitar |
If you look closely to every community day Pokemon the alternate Pokemon is a Generation 1 starter
January- Pikachu
March – Bulbasaur
May – Charmander
And every alternate Month is a 10KM Egg Rare Pokemon
February- Dratini
April – Mareep
June – Lavitar
As per this pattern the next community day Pokemon surely has to be Squirtle that is a Generation 1 starter which could follow up with Chikorita and so on till 2019.
If this pattern continues we can expect the following Pokemon in the upcoming months! (Spoiler)

| July | Squirtle | |
| August | Ralts | |
| September | Chikorita | |
| October | Slakoth | |
| November | Cyndaquil | |
| December | Trapinch | |
| January 2019 | Totodile | |
| February | Bagon | |
| March | Treeko | |
| April | Beldum | |
| May | Torchic |
We’ll keep an eye out for the upcoming community days of what’s happening from Niantic and post an update when the mystery is solved. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

]]>2017 was the inaugural Pokémon Go Fest is being remembered more for its failings than its successes that the fans expected. Putting the past behind Niantic is now committed and pumped to give the fans another go event this summer, an event that the trainers deserve, making a comeback this year in July.
“After getting off to a bumpy start in Chicago last year, we hosted a number of record-setting events in Japan, Korea, and cities across Europe with attendance that ranged from tens of thousands to more than 2 million,” said Niantic CEO John Hanke in a statement. “We are excited to be returning to Chicago for our U.S. event.”
The Event is called “Pokémon Go Fest 2018 “A Walk in the Park in Chicago”. Niantic also announced that Chicago’s Lincoln Park will serve as the North American venue for its 2018 three-city tour with stops in Germany and Japan. The event is scheduled for July 14 and 15
North America gets Pokemon GO Fest, where in the EU and Japan get Safari Zones.
However, the most anticipated features are likely reliable cell service and game servers that can handle the concentrated surge in users , unlikely to what happened in 2017
One-day tickets for Lincoln Park’s upcoming Pokémon Go Fest will cost $20 and go on sale May 11 at 11 a.m. through Pokémon Go Fest’s official website. The fans will have the same experience on both the days that will help more and more fans to enjoy the 2 day event.
