Niantic has just announced the Christmas Event, and it’s pretty much what we had thought it to be.

Niantic announced the Event over on their Official Pokemon GO Site.

Here’s Everything about the Christmas Event that was announced:

• The Event begins today at 1:00 PST.
• Special Pikachu is here.
• More Ice-type Pokemon Spawns.
• New Gen III Ice-type and Water-type Pokemon will be released.

Special Bonus:

First PokeStop Spin between December 22, 1:00 PM to December 25, 1:00 PM (PST) will award you a Single-use Egg Incubator.

Special Box Sale:

Special Boxes will appear Twice during the Event

Items Included in the Box between 21st December 1:00  to December 25th 1:00 PM (PST):

• Super Incubators
• Lure Modules
• Star Pieces, which earn bonus Stardust for 30 minutes when activated.

Items Included in the Box between 25th December 1:00  to 4th January 2018 1:00 PM (PST):

• Premium Raid Passes
• Super Incubators
• Star Pieces.

Pretty much everything that was expected was announced today, except for one thing.

The as no mention of Delibird whatsoever. Has Niantic kept one more surprise up its sleeves for Christmas??

The Christmas Presents are arriving soon, and we got the Leaked details of the upcoming Christmas event.

The Taiwanese Play store was updated with their Pokemon GO App description and promotion Image of the upcoming Christmas event. This was reported by a Reddit user called kk5566, who provided the translation and a screenshot of the store on Reddit.
