The Christmas Presents are arriving soon, and we got the Leaked details of the upcoming Christmas event.

The Taiwanese Play store was updated with their Pokemon GO App description and promotion Image of the upcoming Christmas event. This was reported by a Reddit user called kk5566, who provided the translation and a screenshot of the store on Reddit.

Chrales, one of the most active Network Traffic Analyser, just leaked the following info:

1. 20 new Generation III Pokémon assets are being downloaded (WATER AND ICE TYPE)
2. Delibird Assets are being downloaded.
3. AR Plus Tutorial steps are also downloaded

20 new Generation III Pokémon assets (Water Wave)

We don’t that this Pokemon will be released or not, but image assets – sprites that are used for Pokédex and various other in-game Pokémon lists are being downloaded in the Network Traffic. And Guess what? They all are Water and Ice type, and it’s Iccy Christmas!

Niantic is Planning to have a Holiday Event this month, which is expected to begin around 21st December.

This was recently shared by Archit Bhargava, Niantic’s Global Marketing Lead, with TechCrunch.

Although you might say that this is not an official announcement, its Niantics MArketing Lead we are talking about. Who previously has been known to create the Hype with his now infamous,“This summer will be Legendary” statement.

Apart from that TechCrunch has been a credible and reliable source for information coming out of the Silicon Valley.

What to Expect from this Event?

Apart from the usual benefits of an Event, we do expect to see Delibird launch into the game.

Dlibird should be made available this month

As seen in the Data Mine files for the latest update 0.85.1, Delibirds signature moves attributes have been added to the game’s code.

Present, which is Delibirds signature move has been added to the game’s code, along with its complete attributes set. A similar pattern was seen in the launch of Ditto where the attributes for its special move: transform were added just a few days before its release.

Apart from that the new Load Screen also hints at a Present being Thrown with a supposed Delibird hiding behind the tree.

Considering the above facts we should expect to see Delibird being made available along with the event.
