The new round of EX Raid Passes have been distributed, the EX Raid will take place on 30 or 31st March depending on our local timezone.

This is the Fifth invitation wave after Niantic acknowledges changes in the invitation system.

The new EX wave is supposed to be based on the new and improved code. Which means if you have been trying out to get an EX Raid based on the following Guidelines, you may have it already or soon be getting it.

The guidelines of the updated EX Raid invite are as follows :

• Trainers with a higher level Gym Badge are now even more likely to receive an invitation for an EX Raid Battle at that location.
• Similarly, Trainers who complete more Raid Battles (at any location) the week before EX Raid Battle invitations are sent will now have a greater chance of being selected.

A few early observations from previous raids is observed!

• Trainers are reporting raiding today for the first time at the Gym where the raid is to take place, and some are even reporting raiding there in the past two hours preceding the distribution
• Lots of trainers even reported raiding daily, hitting the proper Gym but still EX Raid pass not received.

So if you haven’t received an EX raid invite yet, you know what you need to be working on to increase your chances of getting the EX invite.

A new wave of EX Raid invites has been distributed, targeting the December 18th. This could Possibly mean a Groudon raid.

As for Groudon :  Tier 5 (Legendary) Raid Boss, with Boss CP of 59505 and Max Capture CP of 2785 (for perfect IV score). Groudon is a GROUND type, NOT soloable Legendary POkemon and as we know Clear weather would probably strengthen him even more.

Even so this could also mean Mewtwo Or Groudon , Groudon was a part of the Gen 3 release trailer tease , but this would probably be too soon for him to be a part of Ex Raids.

These Raids could take plave in a pattern :

• sponsored and non sponsored locations
• gyms mostly located in parks
