Niantic has officially announced that an update to the EX Raid Invitation System is in works.

Niantic’s Support Twitter handle Tweeted the following confirming the same:

Trainers, thank you for your feedback on EX Raid Battles. We’re working to improve the invitation system based on what we heard from you.

This comes after the huge backlash from the community regarding the mechanics and transparency issues. The current Test runs had tremendous backlash from the community as no one knew what needed to be done to get an EX Raid pass.

And apart from that, the distribution system seemed to work randomly distributing passes to only a select few Trainers even if many others had done a Raid at the said Gym earlier.

Although we don’t know what the new invitation system would be like, we expect it to be much more transparent now. So that everyone at least knows what needs to be done in order to get an EX Raid pass.

2 Item Pokestop Drop bug Fixed

Trainers in various regions reported Pokestop only giving out 2 items after the latest update

We would like to inform you guys that the 2 Item Drop Bug has finally been fixed by Niantic. It seems like someone at Niantic has finally heard our requests and updated the same!!!
