The post Community Day 6: Observations from Asia-Pacific’s Larvitar appeared first on PokéWreck.
]]>Obviously, The first report confirms Shiny Larvitar, Apart from that many Errors and Few other things were observed:
At the Start of the Event, it was a totally unplayable condition, different types of errors were encountered, PTC Login Error and slow loading. Although Niantic Acknowledged the issue and Extended the Asia-Pacific’s community day by 2 hours.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to investigate and address a variety of service-related issues. As a result of these issues, #PokemonGoCommunityDay has been extended 2 hours in the Asia-Pacific region. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Apart from that Few other things were observed:
Few Reports also showed No SmackDown on Evolving Larvitar
It’s an advice to trainers not to evolve you precious community day Pokemon during error conditions, It’s Not a good idea to evolve it while servers aren’t working properly
Personal Views: At the Start of the event it was hard luck for all the Asia-Pacific’s the App wouldn’t even start, it was Literally unplayable conditions, it was like more errors were encountered than Larvitar. Although the start was not good, Niantic as always took a prompt action and solved the issue and extended the community day by 2 hours, Things seem to have gotten better after the 2 hours. Things were back to normal and had fairly high rates of Larvitar Spawn, I almost caught 40 Larvitars in 30 minutes and out of that 2 were shiny. Even the catch rate was good, with the combination of Razz Berry and Great or Nice throw I was able to catch in a single throw.

]]>Hold your seat belts as one of the best Pokémon to be introduced in all Pokémon generations, is going to be spawning like rain during June Community Day!
Yes, you heard it right Larvitar has been confirmed as the next Community Day Pokémon!
Apart from that the Exclusive move which was to be revealed later got leaked in the Chinese and Japanese in-game news.

In the Japanese translation it says that the pokemon will be able to learn a new moveset, うちおとす、which translates to Smackdown.
Japanese Translation: The next “Pokemon GO Community Day” is planned for Saturday, June 16th, 12-15 Japan time. The Pokemon swarming this time is the Rock-Ground-type Pokemon “Larvitar”! Also, if you evolve a Pupitar to a Tyranitar during the 3 hours of the event, the Tyranitar will know [a special move][Smack Down]. *Only Tyranitars evolved during the event will know the special move.
It seems like the Japanese and Chinese translators forgot to remove the brackets which were supposed to be announced later. Since [特別なわざ][うちおとす] were both in brackets, they were probably supposed to remove one of them (and the brackets) for the first press release & then swap it out for the second one.
So it confirms Smack Down will be the exclusive move during the 6th Community Day!
Smack down is a ROCK type fast move
And Obviously like Previous community days, Shiny Larvitar family will be released, if you’re wondering how shiny Larvitar will look, we have a preview for you.
