]]>To continue the hype of Legendaries, soon after the end of Ho-Oh Raids Niantic announced Hoenn Region Raid Boss in the Game.
Groudon, the Ground-type Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region, is now appearing in Raid Battles around the world! But as always legendaries are for a limited period only, Groudon will only be available until 1:00 p.m. PST on January 15, 2018.

Get Ready to catch the Legendary, Here’s the List of counters which you can use to easily defeat and get an entry in your Pokedex. (We have included an infographic at the end of the post)
Groudon is a Ground type and it has no double weakness, but Groudon raid boss can be empowered by Clear weather.
Groundon Raid Boss CP is found to be 51,969 and it can have max CP of 2,328 (Perfect Level 20).

Unlike Moltres, Entei doesn’t have the second type to make Raid battles complicated, Entei is effectively a better Flareon, has access to a multitude of strong moves and shouldn’t be avoided.

Mewtwo takes Super Effective damage from DARK, BUG and GHOST type Movesets due to its PSYCHIC type.
The best Pokemon to fight Mewtwo is Tyranitar with incredibly strong DARK type moves.
However, Mewtwo’s Focus Blast charge move can have devastating lethal damage to a Tyranitar if it’s hit.
Dodging is not only recommended, it’s almost mandatory.
