Trainers,

Community days are one of the best events that Niantic has given the fans and we wish that they continue this trend in the upcoming years as well, Niantic ‘unleashes’ the shiny forms of that specific Pokemon and its evolutions, which makes the event more fun, but here’s what is most intriguing about the post from the looks of it we might know how Niantic chooses its Community day Pokemon.

Pokemon Go players have seen five Community Day events, one for each month:

January Pikachu Pokemon GO Pikachu
February Dratini Pokemon GO Dratini
March Bulbasaur Pokemon GO Bulbasaur
April Mareep Pokemon GO Mareep
May 19 Charmander Pokemon GO Charmander
June 16 Lavitar Pokemon GO Larvitar

Now as part of the analysis

If you look closely to every community day Pokemon the alternate Pokemon is a Generation 1 starter

January- Pikachu
March – Bulbasaur
May – Charmander

And every alternate Month is a 10KM Egg Rare Pokemon

February- Dratini
April – Mareep
June – Lavitar

As per this pattern the next community day Pokemon surely has to be Squirtle that is a Generation 1 starter which could follow up with Chikorita and so on till 2019.

If this pattern continues we can expect the following Pokemon in the upcoming months! (Spoiler)

Also See: PokeTimer Countdown timer for all events and upcoming events

UPDATE: PokeTimer App is now available android (Pokemon Go Event Countdown Timer + Mass Evolution Strings and Many More) – Download now!

[SPOILER AHEAD]

July Squirtle Pokemon GO Squirtle
August Ralts Pokemon GO Ralts
September Chikorita Pokemon GO Chikorita
October Slakoth Pokemon GO Slakoth
November Cyndaquil Pokemon GO Cyndaquil
December Trapinch Pokemon GO Trapinch
January 2019 Totodile Pokemon GO Totodile
February Bagon Pokemon GO Bagon
March Treeko Pokemon GO Treecko
April Beldum Pokemon GO Beldum
May Torchic Pokemon GO Torchic

We’ll keep an eye out for the upcoming community days of what’s happening from Niantic and post an update when the mystery is solved. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

Trainers,

As we all know the Pokemon Go received the quest update a few days ago and on completing the quest challenges trainers will receive a stamp each day and after completing the 7 stamps the trainer will receive a breakthrough reward.

Some thrifty players from around the world figured out a way to set their phones time zone around +14 hours against GMT and therefore able to claim their tomorrows stamp now. By using these trick trainers around the world finished the seventh-day research task and which lead them to the Field Research Breakthrough.

Research Breakthrough Reward

Many trainers around the world have confirmed Moltres is a Field Research Breakthrough encounter with some additional rewards.

Additional Research Breakthrough rewards include the following items:

stardust_painted.png Item_1301.png
2000 Stardust 3 Rare Candy 3000 XP
ultraball_sprite.png Item_PINAP_BERRY_01.png
5 Ultra Balls 5 Pinab Berries Moltres Encounter

Moltres Encounter Photo Proof attached at the end of the post.

Here are the few details and facts we collected from the trainers about reward breakthrough.

  1. Moltres encounter will be like normal Pokemon encounter, unlike raid encounter you will be able to use the combination of any berries and Pokeball which will make it easier to capture.
  2. Many of the trainers reported the Moltres to be of Maximum level 15.
  3. Level 15 Moltres IVs range from 1222 CP to 1402 CP, but we’re not sure if this Moltres can go lower than 10 / 10 / 10 IVs, which translates to 1341 CP.

Trainers,

The new “Pokemon Research” feature is going live today, and as confirmed by the Japanese Pokemon Go website, Moltres is a part of the quest research reward.

“Pokemon Research” is sure to bring a whole new level of excitement to all Pokemon Go players – finishing quests, earning rewards, catching Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, in this case, Mew.

So Far even Moltres is a part of the research Rewards.

As you all heard in the Previous Field Post. Heres what we know as of now and will be updating the page according to the changes.

The Quests will be held in 8 Stages across the game , here are the probable Quests and the Rewards. Lets Begin :

Stage 1 out of 8

Trainer, how are you? It’s been a while, hasn’t it? You’ve become quite the Trainer! I wanted to ask for your help. As you know, I study Pokémon and their habitats. I’ve learned a lot over the years, but recently, I’ve found some hints of something mysterious. I was wondering if you would help me investigate what’s going on. You will? That’s great! First things first, let’s calibrate my instruments to your area. Could you please complete the following research tasks?

Objectives

Spin 5 PokeStops 500 XP
Catch 10 Pokemon 500 XP
Transfer 5 Pokemon 500 XP

Rewards

Great Ball x10
Incubator x1
Lure Module x3

Stage 2 out of 8

Great. Thanks, Trainer! Now I should be able to detect anything out of the ordinary. I believe we need to be on the lookout for a Mythical Pokémon! Mythical Pokémon are extremely rare and unique, and many consider their existence to be mere rumor. Could you help get my equipment set up around your local habitat? This’ll be a great time to take your buddy out to explore a bit and hatch some Eggs!

Objectives

Earn 2 Candies walking with your buddy 1000 XP
Make 10 Great Throws 1000 XP
Hatch 3 Eggs 1000 XP

Rewards

Stardust 2000
Incense x3
Great Ball x20

Stage 3 out of 8

Incredible! This confirms my initial suspicion. I think we’re seeing evidence of Mew! A Pokémon found in a jungle far to the south that was thought to have been extinct. It is so rare that many experts say that it is a myth. Only a few people have seen it worldwide. Apparently, it appears only to those people who are pure of heart and have a strong desire to see it. My colleagues in Kanto, including my instructor, Professor Oak, spent a long time studying Mew. It looks like our findings match theirs! According to our research, Mew was said to be observed using moves of all kinds. This observation has led some of us to say that Mew is the ancestor of all Pokémon! Perhaps by studying Pokémon in battle, we’ll learn more!

Objectives

Reach Level 15 1500 XP
Battle in a Gym 2 times 1500 XP
Battle in 2 raids 1500 XP

Rewards

Charge TM x1
Quick TM x1
Star Piece x2

Stage 4 out of 8

Great work, Trainer! This will help point us in the right direction. Did you know Mew is said to hold the genetic codes of all Pokémon? Mew’s secrets could be a link to understanding the mystery of Pokémon growth and Evolution! Let’s study some Pokémon Evolution to learn more about Mew!

Objectives

Earn a silver Kanto medal. 2000 XP
Evolve 20 Pokemon 2000 XP
Earn 5 Candies walking with your buddy 2000 XP

Rewards

Stardust 4000
Lure Modules x3
Great Ball x20

Stage 5 out of 8

Amazing. Just amazing! Isn’t Evolution wondrous? I learn something new every time I see it! With the data we’ve collected so far, I should be able to pinpoint Mew’s location! It looks like…

Yes, it looks like Mew has visited your area recently! Hmm… Interesting. If that’s the case, someone should have reported a sighting… Maybe Mew is hiding or disguised as another Pokémon? Let’s study some other Pokémon that use these tricks and the best ways to catch them!

Objectives

Catch Ditto 2500 XP
Make 20 Great Throws 2500 XP
Catch 10 GHOST Pokemon 2500 XP

Rewards

Premium Raid Pass x1
Lucky Egg x1
Revive x15

Stage 6 out of 8

Thank you, Trainer! With your help, I’ve determined that Mew is invisible! Let’s collect some data to build a tool to find it. I have an idea… I’ll need you to study some powerful Pokémon up close to help me out!

Objectives

Reach Level  25 3000 XP
Battle 10 Raids 3000 XP
Evolve a Magikarp 3000 XP

Rewards

Stardust 6000
Rare Candy x5
Incense x3

Stage 7 out of 8

Nice! My prototype is functioning well. I’ve upgraded your AR camera with the new ability to see invisible Pokémon! The final step is to lure out Mew. Mew is said only to appear to those who are pure of heart and have a strong desire to meet it… Let’s show Mew what a great Trainer you are and how excited we are to see it!

Objectives

Catch 50 Pokémon using a Berry 3500 XP
Make 1 Excellent Curve throw 3500 XP
Earn Gold Kanto medal 3500 XP

Rewards

Stardust 8000
Ultra Ball x20
A Mythical Pokémon Encounter x1

Stage 8 out of 8

We found Mew! Awesome! This is an experience to remember forever. Now you can see why I love studying Pokémon so much! The whole world is out there to discover. So go have some fun! My assistants and I will request some Special Research from you in the future. Stay in touch!

Objectives

Catch Mew 4000 XP

Rewards

Stardust 10000
Super Incubator x1
Mew Candy x20

Mew’s Catch Rate is supposedly 100% with the only requirement being the completion of the Field as well as the Special Research Quests.

Thats it for Now! Stay Tuned for Further Updates!

Trainers,

Turn on your Hype glasses, Niantic just announced that Mythical Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO via Quests and really it’s amazing!

Here’s what we know till now:

Starting March 30, Pokémon GO Trainers will need to step up their game as the new research feature arrives.

A series of mysterious happenings is occurring all over the world, and Professor Willow is seeking Trainers to help him find out if this is connected to the Mythical Pokémon Mew

There are two different types of research you can contribute to:

  • Field Research tasks can be gathered by Spinning nearby PokeStops
    • Includes catch challenges, Gym battles, and raid scenarios
  • Special Research it may requested by Professor Willow himself

Both type of the Research will offer you great rewards which includes:

  • Useful items
  • Encounters with certain Pokémon (You may even have an encounter with a Legendary Pokémon)

Best part, You can complete as many research tasks as you want every day. These tasks also have different levels of difficulty, so the more challenging a research task is, the greater the reward waiting for you.

Here’s few preview shared by Niantic
