If you have been waiting for Pokemon Storage to receive and increase, we have a good news for you.

Niantic has heard the prayers of many Trainers and finally decided to increase the Max Pokemon Storage limit.

Pokemon Storage will now max out at 1500, whereas everyone will be receiving additional 50 slots.

This comes shortly after the announcement of the Launch of Gen III.

In a post shared on their Official site, Niantic shared the following information.

“With the addition of Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region, the need for more Pokémon Storage is greater than ever. You’ll now be able to store up to 1,500 Pokémon. We’ve also increased the minimum Pokémon Storage size by 50, so all Trainers will soon be able to carry 50 additional Pokémon.”

Niantic has planned many new things for all of us this December. Along with the introduction of Gen III Pokemon, we will also have a new weather system implemented impacting Pokemon spawns based on the Weather in your region.

There is reportedly a Pokemon GO in-game map update, featuring the latest changes that were added to the Open Street Maps data set. We are still working to confirm the reach of this change, but it seems it’s a worldwide change.

It all started yesterday, with a number of Australian players reporting that the map was changed in various areas around Melbourne. A number of reports from other Australian regions also followed, but there were no further reports from other countries or regions around the globe.

Today, a Reddit thread popped up on The Silph Road, claiming that the in-game map was updated in his area (Canada). Reasonably Before and after Screenshots where also posted

The following areas have been confirmed affected:

• Brazil
• Canada
• Australia (for a week, at least)
• East Asia (general area)

However, we believe that this is a rolling change, so it may take a while before your area is affected. The following areas have confirmed not receiving any updates yet:

• Croatia (eastern Europe)
• Ireland
• East Coast USA
• Mexico

Interestingly, players have reported that the update is purely visual, bringing no new spawn points or nests. This is, of course, subject to change in the future, but as of now, it’s a purely cosmetic change.
