Description by Chrales: Team Medallion is a unique coin that enables a Trainer to change teams. A Team Medallion can only be purchased from the shop once per 365 days.
From the description it is clear that Niantic is going to introduce a new coin in the Poke Shop using that coin we will be able to change our Team, but that keep that in mind you can change once per 365 days!
Currently there is no information for how much Pokecoins it will be available and from when it will be available to purchase!
