Pokemon GO Apple Watch Store Promo confirms Gen 3 and Event Pikachu

With Halloween just around the corner, many fans have been waiting tirelessly for a new Event.

More so after Gen 3 Pokemon files were completely added to the game’s code.

This Promo pretty much confirms Two Things

And you’ll be quite excited to know (if you haven’t read the Title already) one of the two!!

1. Event Pikachu with a Special Halloween Hat will be coming to the game once the Event begins.

2. Gen 3 Pokemon will be released during the Halloween Event.

Now before you get all excited, we would like to take a more skeptical look at it.

And here’s what we think, even though everything is pretty much set for the all-out release of Gen 3, we don’t expect every one of them to be available as the event begins.

As we can clearly see in the image above, as well as the new loading screen found in the APK Mine, only Gen 3 Ghost and Dark types have been shown till now. And it’s not just that, given the fact that the release of Gen 3 can pretty much overshadow the Event as a whole, it makes sense from Niantic to not roll-out all of them at once.

Rather what we think could be the possible scenario is that Gen 3 Ghost and Dark types will be made available during the event with the rest of the lot following once the Event ends!!

By doing this Niantic can keep the essence of the Halloween Event as well as not make the Players wait for too long for the complete Gen 3 experience. As the new update has already been long overdue!!

That’s our take on the whole Gen 3 release!!
