Pokemon GO: Raiding from home, Adventure Sync Improvement, GO Fest and much more

Trainers, Based on the current world health situation, Niantic has shared a new blog post regarding the upcoming changes in Pokemon GO, all changes are related to staying at home gameplay.

The changes include Raiding from home, Adventure Sync improvement, GO Fest and much more…

Here’s are the details shared in the blog post

While it’s impossible to predict when and how the situation with COVID-19 will evolve globally, we’re going to make the following changes to our games and live events:

Exercise: you can track your steps indoor with Adventure Sync so activities like cleaning your house and running on a treadmill count toward game achievements. We’re going to make improvements to Adventure Sync so it works even better with indoor movement and activities.

Social: we’re enhancing our in-game virtual social features to enable players to stay in touch when they can’t meet in real life. You’ll soon be able to team up with friends and take on Raid Battles together in Pokémon GO from the comfort of home.

Explore: we’re also looking into how we can help players virtually visit and share memories about their favorite real-world places, until they can once again visit them in person.

Live Events: we’re re-imagining what it means to participate in a Niantic live event this summer, and putting our creative energy towards bringing the excitement directly to your home. That means we’re working on an entirely new way to enjoy Pokémon GO Fest. More details coming soon!

Breakdown

Adventure Sync improvements: The Adventure Sync in Pokemon GO is soon going to improve and track even the small distance you take indoor while cleaning the house, walking from rooms, running in the treadmills or any other indoor activity, that means more egg hatching from home.

Raiding from home: This one is huge, just like the remote battle we’ll soon having the raiding from home with friends in Pokemon GO, currently, they have not shared the complete details on how it will be implemented, but there might be some minimum friendship level requirement to be able to raid with friends. So start adding friends and increase your friendship level.

PokeStops from Home?: Currently, It is unclear from the Explore point, but it looks like we’ll be soon able to spin PokeStops from home which we have already visited in the past. This is just speculation.

GO Fest Update: Pokemon GO is working on an entirely new way to enjoy the GO Fest from home, This is going to be something huge, John Hanke the CEO of the Niantic has also shared a tweet how he is excited seeing the Pokemon GO team is working on the new GO Fest Update.
