Trainers, in the last few hours Niantic revealed the new Three-Strike Discipline Policy (aka Pokemon Go Ban Policy) for the players who are breaking the Pokemon Go terms of service. Let’s dive into it!
Pokemon Go updated the New Ban policy on their support page Titled Three Strike Discipline Policy. Here’s the breakdown highlighting the important rules:

Niantic also warned some offenders may not receive three strikes. Some misbehaviors may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.

Detection:
If this strike is issued, the trainer will see a warning message within the Pokémon GO app informing that they have detected cheating on the account.
Effects:
Duration:
This strike will last for approximately 7 days. After this period, your gameplay experience will fully be restored.
Detection:
If the account is issued a second strike, the trainer will temporarily lose access to your Pokémon GO account. When attempting to log into the game, the trainer will be presented with a message stating that your account is suspended.
Duration:
This strike will last for approximately 30 days.
Detection:
If the trainer receives the first and second warning and still continues to strike, the trainer will be permanently suspended.
Duration:
Permanent.
If you believe your account has been terminated in error, you may appeal the termination. We will respond to your appeal after a complete investigation of your account. Please note that due to the high level of accuracy in our detection systems, very few terminations are ever overturned.
