Halloween Event will be From October 23 at 01:00 P.M. PDT and run until November 1 at 1:00 P.M. PDT, You can check-out the Event Countdown Timer at PokeTimer
List of New Spooky Pokemon
Driftloon is now available in the Wild, It is confirmed that Driftloon is available in the Shiny Form
Event Pikachu is also Available in the Wild and Event Pichu in the 2 KM Egg
There’s also one another Pokemon Released, we will share it at the end of the post, as it is a spoiler for the Special Research Rewards

Spiritomb is formed by the collection of 108 Spirits, in handheld games it has a base defence and Special Defence of 108 and also in the Sinnoh National Dex it is #108

Lickitung Pokedex numbers is #108
Do I need to finish the Special Research before the end of the end?
No, you do not need to finish it before the end of the event, Japanese Pokemon Go Website clarifies you need to start the Special Research before the event ends.

New Pokemon: Ghost-type and Dark-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, such as Drifloon and Stunky
Increased Spawn: All spooky Pokémon

The Renegade Pokémon, Giratina, will make its first appearance in Raid Battles! This Ghost- and Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region has emerged from the Distortion World for an extended time, so challenge it before it leaves on November 20 at 1:00 p.m. PST!

]]>The Halloween event has finally gone live and much earlier than we might have expected it to!!
With the Beginning of the Halloween event also came the release of the First Gen 3 Pokemon in Pokemon GO.
And with all the Hype surrounding the release, our prediction for only the launch of Gen 3 ghosts as opposed to the full blown gen 3 release also came true.
After the Halloween Event the Gen III Ghost Type Pokemon Shuppet , Bannete , Sableye , Duskull and Dusclops were Made available to the players. Following the Event the Egg hatches of these pokemon has been seen by a number to players.
Here is the list of the Gen III egg hatches
5 KM EGGS
- Shuppet
Shuppet Further Evolves in Banette with 50 candies
10 KM EGGS
1. Sableye
2. Duskull
Duskull has a two level evolution where in for evolving into Dusclops it need 25 candies and to Dusknoir it requires 100 candies after Dusclops.
Even though the Official Gen III release date hasn’t been announced yet these Gen III pocket monsters can be expected by December.

Along with these the shiny variants have alos been release

]]>Today we’ve received a confirmation that a special event is going to take place during the Halloween. The official Pokémon Company website stated the following in an article titled “Beware Pokémon’s Spooky Halloween Roundup!”:
Ghostly Goodies in Pokémon GO
The Halloween season is a special time in Pokémon GO. Plenty of good stuff is coming to the game later this October, and we can’t wait to get out and about to see what sort of excitement we can scare up while catching new Pokémon to fill out our Pokédex.

Although many media outlets are going crazy about the new Pokemon, but this isn’t the official confirmation of Gen 3 release. The New Pokemon can be anything like Pikachu with Halloween Hat or can be anything.
The only things confirmed by this post is:
- A Halloween event is going happen which will in the late October (31st October Halloween)
- A plenty of good stuff like game update is expected in later October.
- And Some new Pokemon
