Pokemon GO: GO Battle League, Move Update, New Attacks and Legacy Attacks

Trainers, Major changes are coming to Pokemon GO very soon! Niantic revealed the upcoming GO Battle League preview, several incredible moveset changes and the Increased Pokemon Spawns in the areas!

GO Battle League

The GO Battle League will be a triathlon style contest, the battles will take place in all the three leagues, meaning that the great league mastery people have built up won’t be enough.

You’ll have to learn all 3 metagames to get a high rank.

Here are a few key points to note:

  • Battles will take place in all three leagues: Great League, Ultra League, and Master League.
  • Your Rank will start from Rank 1.
  • Rank 10 will be the top rank.
  • As you win throughout the season your rank will increase.
  • Once you reach a new rank, you cannot drop below it for the rest of the season. Your rank might drop in the next season for bad performance.
  • Higher ranks mean higher rewards.
  • You cannot use two or more of the same species of Pokémon on your team.

The release of GO Battle League is expected in Early 2020.
