Community Day 3: Observations from Asia-Pacific’s Bulbasaur

Trainers,

The Community Day 3 has already been started and it’s about to end in Asia-Pacific’s region and the following things are observed.

First of all, one of the most observed change is that the Spawn points are changing and There seem to be additional spawn locations effective during the event.

There seem to be similar spawn rates like the previous two events (Dratini and Pikachu)

Shiny rates are fairly high, similar to the last event. According to the Report, trainers managed to encounter 1 Shiny out of 20 Bulbasaur encounter.

Catch rates for Shiny Bulbasaur seem to be increased over normal ones. They are definitely easy to catch, and, while the catch rate is not 100%, it is still fairly high, with a number of them caught on straight, Pokeball throws.

Make sure you get a Venusaur with Frenzy Plant. Frenzy Plant is the special move this month. It is observed that Bulbasaur caught before and after the event were glitched during the evolution process, with Frenzy Plant not displaying properly on the screen. These issues seemed to fix itself after the event.

Make sure you Read the Guide to skip Pokemon animation to increase your catch rate Guide: Skip Pokeball shaking animation and Pokémon catch screen

Check the difference between the Shiny and Normal 🙂
