Trainers, Trainer Battle a.k.a is now live for Trainer level 10 and above, here are the few things and bugs you need to should before you proceed!
We know you’re much excited to start your first battle, below are the few bugs which you need to take care of before starting.
Restart app before learning new attacks
if you were already playing Pokemon Go when the update went live, it is recommended to restart your App, few trainers faced an issue where every Pokemon learn a new attack showed 0 stardust and 0 candy (beware it’s not a reward the real amount will be deducted when you restart your app)
Don’t start a fight in sync mode, you can start taking damage before it starts.
Many cases of trainers not registering attacks, nothing to press etc.
Lag and sync issues seem serious, sometimes opponent switched, and you don’t even see it.
Battles freeze halfway, the only current way to continue is to kill the app.
Charge and Shield move use not in sync, it says you have 3 secs, but you are hit already.
Some device consistently does better. example, s7e, is always starting a battle behind Galaxy Note.
Magmortar Second Move Cheaper Than Magmar (50k vs 75k Stardust)
Update:
Magby New Attack costs only 10k Stardust
Seems like it only affects Pokémon with baby forms. Togepi, Magby, Elekid, etc, unlock your attack before Niantic fixes it!
Legendary: 100,000 stardust + 100 candy
Non Legendary: 75,000 stardust + 75 candy
There are 4 tiers: (similar to walk distances)
10,000 stardust + 25 candy for Gen 1 starters, even evolved. (and many more)
50,000 stardust + 50 candy for Poliwrath and the whole tree. (evolve or not doesn’t matter)
5,000 stardust + 75 candy for Snorlax and other meaningful Pokemon
100,000 stardust + 100 candy for legendaries
Super Effective : 1.4 => 1.6
Resistance : 0.714 => 0.625
Double resistance : 0.51 => 0.390625
You can get 2 Sinnoh Stones in 1 battle
But Still Sinnoh Stone not guaranteed!
You choose all 6 Pokemon at once, it’s much faster.
