Trainers, Trainer Battle a.k.a is now live for Trainer level 10 and above, here are the few things and bugs you need to should before you proceed!

Few Bugs

We know you’re much excited to start your first battle, below are the few bugs which you need to take care of before starting.

Restart app before learning new attacks

if you were already playing Pokemon Go when the update went live, it is recommended to restart your App, few trainers faced an issue where every Pokemon learn a new attack showed 0 stardust and 0 candy (beware it’s not a reward the real amount will be deducted when you restart your app)

  1. Don’t start a fight in sync mode, you can start taking damage before it starts.

  2. Many cases of trainers not registering attacks, nothing to press etc.

  3. Lag and sync issues seem serious, sometimes opponent switched, and you don’t even see it.

  4. Battles freeze halfway, the only current way to continue is to kill the app.

  5. Charge and Shield move use not in sync, it says you have 3 secs, but you are hit already.

  6. Some device consistently does better. example, s7e, is always starting a battle behind Galaxy Note.

Bug as a Reward

Magmortar Second Move Cheaper Than Magmar (50k vs 75k Stardust)

Update:

Seems like it only affects Pokémon with baby forms. Togepi, Magby, Elekid, etc, unlock your attack before Niantic fixes it!
