Pokemon Go Friends and Gifts

Adding Friends:
When people “share” their trainer codes, the entire message can be copied and only the code will be pasted in the game
When you’ve got the message from a friend just copy the entire message and paste it in the add friends, and only the code will be pasted into the game’s code box.
Getting too many notifications?
You can turn off the Friend and gift notifications in settings.

Removed a friend by mistake? Don’t Worry
Removing and re-adding a friend will not remove friendship progress
After removing a friend, your Friendship Levels can be recovered for a limited period of time. If you re-add a friend during that time period, your Friendship Level will be restored.
Unlimited gifts in a day? No
There is a limit of 20 gifts opened per day

Trading

Trading is currently available to level 30 and above (At the time of writing post) Niantic is currently testing the server capacities and performance, lower levels trading will be unlocked in few days or maybe few hours 🙂
The standard rate of trading is 100 Stardust
You can’t trade me again!
Once traded, the Pokemon you receive in trade cannot be traded to anyone else
Weight and move-set are maintained between trades
Trading XL Magikarps (>13.13kg) count towards the Fisherman Medal Proof
Trading tiny Rattata (<0.25m) Proof

Alolan Pokemon are available through 7KM Egg, which can be obtained from Friends though gifts (Except Alolan Exeggutor which is available in the wild)
