Pokemon go has been around for almost 2 years and the players are constantly striving to make the best of the available resources to them be it stardust, candies, pokeballs, etc and over these 2 years we have learned alot of things about the available resources in the game.
Gladly, the community is full of players who love to min max, do a ton of calculations, and share their findings with the rest of the world.
Agreeable that using a crazy amount of stardust is a little risky but it isnt going to do any good to the trainer sitting there idle. With the help of this infopic trainers can know what they are getting in for when they decide to start hitting Power Up for a particular monster.
