The post Trick: Text Replacement Search Trick to Find Best Types,IVs in Inventory appeared first on PokéWreck.
]]>As all of us have always struggled against what type of Attacker should we use against the Gym defenders this trick surely comes handy making it easier for the trainer. This trick utilizes the combination of the search option in the Pokemon view and uses text replacement to quickly find the best counters.
Not only best defenders but you can also use it during community days by using the search string!
Example –
When you want to attack a fire type Pokemon, Just type !fire in the search bar and it expands to ground, rock, water, showing you all the Pokemon that are of those types.
When you want to attack Raid Boss Snorlax, Just type xsnorlax in the search bar and it expands to Machamp, Heracross, Alakazam, showing you all High DPS Counters of Snorlax
When you want to search Larvitar in your inventory which is having minimum IV 80%, just type ivLarvitar and it expands to the IV search string, showing all the Larvitars having minimum CP 80%
You can generate search string using Pokemon GO: Search code generator any IV range
Note: If your phone won’t accept punctuation as part of a shortcut, you can use a ‘1’ instead of a ‘!’. Example: ‘1bug’ in place of ‘!bug’.

]]>Checking IV of the Pokemon using the Appraisal tool is a way to difficult and according to current scenario using IV Calculator can lead to a Soft Ban or continuous usage even after warning can lead to a Permanent ban!
So seeing the scenario DrWhiteChocolate wrote a Macro in Microsoft Excel using which you can generate a search string for any Pokemon and any IV range, not just 100% IV Pokemon.
You also can use search strings during Community day to quickly find any Pokemon that has IVs >90% or to quickly search for 0% IV Pokemon before a mass transfer.
So Here’s the Macro Excel Sheet

Bulbasaur’s base catch rate is 20%, same as Pikachu’s catch rate. This means Bulbasaur will be more difficult to catch than Dratini during the Community Day, despite most players having Gold GRASS and POISON medals.
We prepared a table for common Bulbasaur catch scenarios. Assumes that you have double gold medals and that throws are curved:
| Pokéball | Throw | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Nice | 30% – 36% |
| Great | 37% – 45% | |
| Excellent | 45% – 50% | |
| Great | Nice | 41% – 49% |
| Great | 50% – 59% | |
| Excellent | 60% – 65% | |
| Ultra | Nice | 50% – 59% |
| Great | 60% – 69% | |
| Excellent | 70% – 75% |

“Great” Curve throw + Great or Ultra Ball = Less than 5% flee, even at Level 35 with a worst possible throw, the flee rate goes up to 17% at level 35.

Community Day is the perfect time to dust off those incense and use them! Incense spawns will be mostly Bulbasaur (based on the last community day).

On average, the Go+ has a less 50% chance of catching a 320CP or lower Bulbasaur. And a less than 40% Chance on a 540CP or lower Dratini.
From the past 2 Community Day, it is noted that Shiny Family is released on the Community Day. If released here’s how Shiny Bulbasaur Family looks like.
