Trainers,

Players will have a chance to catch themselves a Shiny Zapdos with Thunder Shock on the appropriately named Zapdos Day, July 21.

Announced by Niantic, the next themed Raid Day for Pokemon Go is the Zapdos Raid Day – which will of course give trainers the chance to catch the electric-style Legendary Bird Pokemon that made its debut in Pokemon’s Gen I

The chances of having a Shiny Zapdos on the Raid window is what make this oppurtunity really really rare for the trainers across the globe. The Pokemon Go Zapdos Raid Day will take place on July 21 – that’s next Saturday – and it kicking off depends on if the players participating in Pokemon GO Fest complete certain tasks set by Professor Willow. If they succeed, Zapdos day is going ahead.

What makes this special Zapdos from Raid Day stand out is Thunder Shock. Shiny or not, the guarantee of getting a Zapdos with Thunder Shock makes participating in this event worthwhile. Thunder Shock has a great potential Damage Per Second – around 10 DPS (which is better than the regular zapdos and makes catching the zapdos even more worth it)– and when paired with Thunderbolt or Zap Cannon it can make for the optimum Zapdos setup. As such, it’s definitely worth trying to nab a Shiny Zapdos.

That’s it for now.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Say goodbye to any illegally caught Pokémon in your Pokédex.

Niantic is getting rid of Pokémon Go cheaters with a pretty effective crusade: Deleting their illegally-obtained Pocket Monsters.

The Japanese Pokémon Go Twitter account announced that it would soon be taking some sort of measure to keep the game “fun and fair,” and in this case it seems that means combating anyone who attempts to cheat.

These Pokemon can’t be used, making them useless. One Twitter user helpfully shared what this looks like:

A few Hours later, Niantic official Account NianticHelp shared a similar tweet!

In case you were wondering about the “Pokémon will appear slashed and behave as expected” part of the first tweet, here’s what we know about slashed Pokémon:

  • Slashed Pokémon are one of the new anti-cheating measures deployed in June 2017, right after the release of Gym Rework.
  • Slashed Pokémon can’t participate in Gym Battles
  • Slashed Pokémon can’t be deployed as Gym Defenders
  • The “Slash” is no longer removed upon evolution
  • You get no Candy for transferring Slashed Pokémon

Pokemon Go players can also look forward to Pokemon Go Fest, set for mid-July.

The 6th Community is near, here’s a quick guide which you should not miss!

What do you think of Niantic removing illegitimate Pokémon from Pokémon GO?

Thats it for now!

Stay tuned for further updates!

Trainers,

Pokemon go has been around for almost 2 years and the players are constantly striving to make the best of the available resources to them be it stardust, candies, pokeballs, etc and over these 2 years we have learned alot of things about the available resources in the game.

Gladly, the community is full of players who love to min max, do a ton of calculations, and share their findings with the rest of the world.

Agreeable that using a crazy amount of stardust is a little risky but it isnt going to do any good to the trainer sitting there idle. With the help of this infopic trainers can know what they are getting in for when they decide to start hitting Power Up for a particular monster.

Thats it for now!

Stay tuned for further updates!

Trainers,

Everyone is wondering after the recent announcement of the Pokeball Plus and having questions what the heck it is and how it’ll work in Pokemon Go and other Pokemon Games. To answer all the questions we have compiled a brief guide about the all-new Pokeball Plus.

Poke ball plus

Poke Ball Plus

What is Poke Ball Plus?

Pokeball Plus is a new toy in the town and this Poke sized ball is made for more than one game – both the Pokemon: Let’s Go game for Nintendo Switch and the mobile game Pokemon GO! This controller works different ways for each game and has more one thing to do.

How will Poke Ball Plus work with Pokemon Go?

TL;DR – It’s just same old toy for Pokemon Go, just got a new bulky form with shorter battery life!

It’s just the same old toy! Just like with Pokémon GO Plus, you can use your Poké Ball Plus when playing Pokémon GO on a compatible smartphone to help you search for Pokémon and catch it.

You can play Pokemon Go without looking at the screen when a Pokemon appears it will blink and vibrate, on pressing the simple button it will throw a virtual Poke ball in the game and will notify with different colors of light if it’s caught.

As long as your Poké Ball Plus is connected to your smartphone and the Pokémon GO app, it will also count your steps so you can hatch Eggs and get Candy for your Buddy Pokémon.

How will Poke Ball Plus work for Let’s Go Game?

For Let’s Go Game it is completely different!

Poké Ball Plus works like a Joy-Con™ controller with the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games for Nintendo Switch™.

You can Move, battle, navigate menus using the all-new Poke Ball Plus.

Catching a Pokemon

Poké Ball Plus has motion control capability, so when a wild Pokémon appears, ready a Poké Ball and try to catch the Pokémon by moving your Poké Ball Plus like you’re throwing it.

Lights, sounds, action!

When you catch a Pokémon, your Poké Ball Plus will light up and vibrate in your hand, and you’ll hear the Pokémon let out its unique cry—you’ll think there’s really a Pokémon inside!

When will Poke Ball Plus available for sale?

This device will be released at the same time as the Nintendo Switch Pokemon Let’s Go games. That’ll be on November 16th, 2018. Right in time to get all your buddies a Pokeball for the holidays.

From Where Can I Purchase it?

Currently, Nintendo has Mentioned Amazon as the Retail Partner, the product is already up in the Amazon

How much Poke Ball Plus cost?

It’ll cost around $45, and the Pokemon Pokeball Plus only lasts for 3 hours at a time.

Trainers,

Community days are one of the best events that Niantic has given the fans and we wish that they continue this trend in the upcoming years as well, Niantic ‘unleashes’ the shiny forms of that specific Pokemon and its evolutions, which makes the event more fun, but here’s what is most intriguing about the post from the looks of it we might know how Niantic chooses its Community day Pokemon.

Pokemon Go players have seen five Community Day events, one for each month:

January Pikachu Pokemon GO Pikachu
February Dratini Pokemon GO Dratini
March Bulbasaur Pokemon GO Bulbasaur
April Mareep Pokemon GO Mareep
May 19 Charmander Pokemon GO Charmander
June 16 Lavitar Pokemon GO Larvitar

Now as part of the analysis

If you look closely to every community day Pokemon the alternate Pokemon is a Generation 1 starter

January- Pikachu
March – Bulbasaur
May – Charmander

And every alternate Month is a 10KM Egg Rare Pokemon

February- Dratini
April – Mareep
June – Lavitar

As per this pattern the next community day Pokemon surely has to be Squirtle that is a Generation 1 starter which could follow up with Chikorita and so on till 2019.

If this pattern continues we can expect the following Pokemon in the upcoming months! (Spoiler)

Also See: PokeTimer Countdown timer for all events and upcoming events

UPDATE: PokeTimer App is now available android (Pokemon Go Event Countdown Timer + Mass Evolution Strings and Many More) – Download now!

[SPOILER AHEAD]

July Squirtle Pokemon GO Squirtle
August Ralts Pokemon GO Ralts
September Chikorita Pokemon GO Chikorita
October Slakoth Pokemon GO Slakoth
November Cyndaquil Pokemon GO Cyndaquil
December Trapinch Pokemon GO Trapinch
January 2019 Totodile Pokemon GO Totodile
February Bagon Pokemon GO Bagon
March Treeko Pokemon GO Treecko
April Beldum Pokemon GO Beldum
May Torchic Pokemon GO Torchic

We’ll keep an eye out for the upcoming community days of what’s happening from Niantic and post an update when the mystery is solved. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
