Event Bonus

Like the previous event, We have an additional surprise bonus of 1/4 Egg Distance with the start of the event.

Strange Egg Hatches

New Strange Egg has appeared in Pokemon GO and it can be obtained by defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader. You need to walk 12KM to hatch Strange Eggs.

New Pokemon Release

Pawniard (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopediaVullaby (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopediaSandile (Pokémon) - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia

Pawniard, Vullaby and Sandile have made its debut in Pokemon GO and currently, they can be obtained only by hatching the Strange Eggs.

An Inter-egg-sting Development Special Research

A New Special research which introduces the Strange eggs is now available.

Throughout this questline, you will be given a chance to battle and defeat Giovanni and to obtain a Shadow Mewtwo.

Note: The New Special Research will be only available if you completed “Looming in the Shadows” or an older version of a Team GO Rocket special research quest line.

Stage 1

  • Spin 5 Pokéstops: 500 Stardust
  • Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts: 500 Stardust
  • Catch 1 Shadow Pokémon: Meowth (s)

Stage rewards: 500 Stardust, 10 Pokéballs, 10 Razz Berries

Stage 2

  • Catch 5 shadow Pokémon: 750 XP
  • Make 3 nice curveball throws in a row: 750 XP
  • Purify 5 shadow Pokémon: 750 XP

Stage rewards: 1500 Stardust, 10 Great balls, Larvitar (s)

Stage 3

  • Defeat a Team GO Rocket Leader 3 times: 1000 XP
  • Hatch 3 Eggs: 1000 XP
  • Earn 5 Candies walking with your Buddy: 1000 XP

Stage rewards: 1500 Stardust, 3 Golden Razz Berry, Toxicroak encounter

Stage 4

  • Defeat Team Leader Arlo: 1250 XP
  • Defeat Team Leader Cliff: 1250 XP
  • Defeat Team Leader Sierra: 1250 XP

Stage rewards: 5 Hyper potions, 3 Revives, Super Rocket Radar

Stage 5

  • Find the Team GO Rocket Boss: 2500 Stardust
  • Battle the Team GO Rocket Boss: 1500 XP
  • Defeat the Team GO Rocket Boss: 3 Silver Pinap Berries and Shadow Mewtwo rescue encounter

Stage rewards: 3000 Stardust, 1 Fast TM, 1 Charge TM

Stage 6

  • Claim Reward: 2000 XP
  • Claim Reward: 2000 XP

Stage rewards: 3 Revives, 20 Great Balls and one Elite Charged TM
