Trainers, hold up on your seats, as Exploring with Pokémon GO has never been easier with a new feature “Adventure Sync” a Pokemon GO feature designed to work with iOS HealthKit and Google Fit systems and allowing users to import their activity and movement into Pokemon GO.

Adventure Sync can record your walking distances even when Pokémon GO isn’t launched, working in the background to tally your distance, earn Candy, and hatch Eggs!

So how it will affect Pokemon GO In-game Mechanics?

  • Egg hatching will now be easier, allowing you to import kilometers
  • Buddy Pokemon distance walking will also be easier

The new gameplay system will sync in the background with iOS HealthKit and Android Google Fit, and give players access to a weekly summary.

The new weekly summary will highlight Distance Travelled on foot, Calories Burned, and Steps counted

Along with all this, you can Earn rewards each week for each milestone you cross, and receive push notifications when your Buddy Pokémon has found a Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch!
