Pokestop submissions could be coming soon

Less number of Pokestops in your area? The problem is going to be solved soon by the new Pokestop submissions feature. Omar H. Tellez, Niantic’s business developer for the LATAM region, has shared the following tweet:

“PokeStops for all” is a hashtag player in the LATAM region chose as an umbrella hashtag for all types of efforts and mini-protests on social media, urging Niantic to address the lack of PokeStops in that region, The Tweet acknowledges the LATAM Peoples that they know about the lack of PokeStop and will be soon solved by the new Pokestop Submission system

We can see an active development of the Pokestop submissions in every new release, we expect to hear more about this soon.

Pokemon Week in Korea from Sep 14 – 26

From September 14 to September 26, A new Pokemon Go Event is going to take place exclusively in Korea, it is a free event and it features increased spawn of rare Pokemon

The Following Pokemon spawn will be increased:

Pokemon Go Summer Growth numbers

The Niantic Official website shared their summer results, celebrating the rise of AR during summer.

Here’s the summary:

  • Tens of millions of Trainers around the world played Pokemon GO together every (summer) month
  • A 35% increase in active usage was observed since May 2018
  • More than 113 million Friend connections have been made and 2.2 billion gifts were sent since the introduction of the new Social features (June)
  • 400,000 Trainers joined global Pokemon GO events in Dortmund,  Chicago and Yokosuka (200 000 in Dortmund alone!)

Along with the above information, Niantic also hinted a new feature is coming soon.

Pokemon Go Officially launches in Russia

Finally, after more than two years of release, the Pokemon is now officially available in Russia, Russian players were able to participate in the game by downloading APKs, but starting today, official downloads are available from Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

We wish all the best to fellow trainers joining in from Russia. As you may have heard, in Russia, Pokemon catches you.
