Trainers,

Community days are one of the best events that Niantic has given the fans and we wish that they continue this trend in the upcoming years as well, Niantic ‘unleashes’ the shiny forms of that specific Pokemon and its evolutions, which makes the event more fun, but here’s what is most intriguing about the post from the looks of it we might know how Niantic chooses its Community day Pokemon.

Pokemon Go players have seen five Community Day events, one for each month:

JanuaryPikachuPokemon GO Pikachu
FebruaryDratiniPokemon GO Dratini
MarchBulbasaurPokemon GO Bulbasaur
AprilMareepPokemon GO Mareep
May 19CharmanderPokemon GO Charmander
June 16LavitarPokemon GO Larvitar

Now as part of the analysis

If you look closely to every community day Pokemon the alternate Pokemon is a Generation 1 starter

January- Pikachu
March – Bulbasaur
May – Charmander

And every alternate Month is a 10KM Egg Rare Pokemon

February- Dratini
April – Mareep
June – Lavitar

As per this pattern the next community day Pokemon surely has to be Squirtle that is a Generation 1 starter which could follow up with Chikorita and so on till 2019.

If this pattern continues we can expect the following Pokemon in the upcoming months! (Spoiler)
