July Community Day Squirtle: Quick Guide – Egg Distance,IV Chart, Catching Rate and Few tips

Get your Squad ready with some cool sunglasses this Sunday, The Community day is just around the corner, we have a lot to be excited about! Not only we get one of the best forms of Squirtle as the event spawn, but with 3-hour lures and 1/4 of Egg Hatching Distance.

Including the Dortmund Safari Global we’ll enjoy 3x catch XP, 3x hatch XP, 2x raid, XP 1 hour lucky egg duration on the top of the 3-hour lures and 1/4 of Egg Hatching

On Evolving Squirtle you will have the exclusive move, Similar to the June announcement, the exclusive move is not yet known (Hydro Cannon) and is confirmed to only be accessible by evolving a Squirtle all the way to a Blastoise.

The Seventh Community Day will take place on 8th of July

Note: As Observed in Mareep Community Day, Any egg put in an incubator before the event starts will NOT receive the bonus!

Make sure you start the incubation after the event starts.

The Reduction in Egg hatching is nice and it’s worth taking advantage of. If you’re looking to hatch a lot of eggs then certainly go for running nine incubators. However, take note the hatching animation will cut into your catching time.

Best Squirtle Search Trick

Caught too many Squirtles? Now finding the best IV Squirtle in the inventory to evolve would be too difficult and time-consuming, instead, we can use a search string to find the best. Generate a search string of Minimum 90% IV and paste it in the search bar to filter out the best Larvitar for you.

You can even use the keyboard search replacement trick to make it easier, or either you can generate search strings of your need and store it in some Google Keep or Note and use it find the best ones.

Catching Tips

As observed in the Previous community days the base capture rate is changed during community days and made easy to catch, using a Razz Berry and the Great ball would be sufficient to catch in a single throw.

Many trainers noticed that Go-tcha Auto Catch and Pokemon Go Plus are much helpful during community day in the 3 hours of timeframe!

Hydro Cannon Move Stats

Hydro Cannon is a Water-type charged move

Hydro Cannon will be a 2 charge bar and deal 47.37 DPS!

This is the FASTEST active charged attack in the game now.

For reference, Stone Edge held the title before, at 700 ms. Hydro Pump hits at 900 ms. Hydro Cannon will be hard to dodge. This is GOOD.
