Leak: New Team GO Rocket Special Research hints Shadow Legendary, Rocket Radar and New Rocket Leaders

Trainers, The Team GO Rocket hype train is getting closer day by day. Data Miners has discovered a new Team GO Rocket Special research questline, that hints Shadow Legendary, A New Item Rocket Radar, Fight with Team GO Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff and Sierra.

Here’s the Summary from the GAME MASTER Data Mine report:

Team GO Rocket Leaders

The three quests Defeat Team GO Rocket Leader confirms that we’ll be facing the challenge from the Team GO Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff and Sierra which are already being teased on Twitter by Pokemon GO Official Account and New Pokemon GO Loading Screen.

Team GO Rocket Boss

The three quests Find, Battle and Defeat Team GO Rocket Boss confirms that we’ll also find the Team GO Rocket Boss which we’re almost confirmed that it’ll be Giovanni who is already being teased in the new loading screen!

Furthermore, Giovanni is also included in the Team GO Rocket Special Research Task storyline which you will find below in the post

Legendary Shadow Pokémon

Ever since the release of Shadow Pokemon, Every trainer around the world was expecting the Shadow Legendary, Looking at the new quest Catch a Legendary Shadow Pokémon, it seems like we’ll be soon finding the Shadow Legendary Pokemon.

Currently, we are not sure which Legendary Shadow Pokemon we’ll be facing first, but we think it might be too early for Niantic to release the Lugia Shadow form.

New Team GO Rocket Special Research Story Line

Trainers, In addition to the above quests, New Team GO Rocket Special Research has been also discovered, It seems like the new research quest is in the continuation of the “A Troubling Situation” research quest.

Here’s the complete story line up discovered in the Data Mine:

Introduction

“Thanks for your help in defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts, %PLAYERNAME%! The team leaders and I have been observing Team GO Rocket, and something tells us this is far from over.

The transmission sent during the Team GO Rocket take-over had a message from an unknown sender at the end. We’re going to need all the help we can get to reveal the identity of this unknown figure looming in the shadows, and you are just the Trainer for the job! Can you help us get to the bottom of this mystery?”

Mysterious Components Found

“Thank you for your continued support against those pesky Team GO Rocket Grunts.
As they flee, some Grunts are leaving behind Mysterious Components. I believe these are what Team GO Rocket is using to hack and steal resources from PokéStops. Clever little devices, aren’t they?

There’s information we can glean from these components that will help us in our fight against this dangerous organization. Once you have enough pieces, you should be able to assemble something similar to the device I’ve modified in my lab. It might be best to prepare yourself for whatever might come, %PLAYERNAME%.”

Some more training required

“Interesting. It appears there’s more to Team GO Rocket than previously thought.

Rocket Radar – Mysterious Components

The Rocket Radar has been first time mentioned on the below stage, Looking at the text, It seems like Rocket Radar will be used to track down the Team GO Rocket Hideouts!

“Fantastic work, Trainer. I’ve been working on a prototype for something I call the Rocket Radar, but I was missing some critical components. Your hard work in retrieving these components actually made my device work!

If we combine my research and these Mysterious Components you’ve found, we can create a radar-like tool to track down Team GO Rocket Hideouts!

Team GO Rocket Boss – “G”

I’ve improved on my previous invention and put together a Super Rocket Radar that should help you track this mastermind down. If it is who I think it is, he signs all his messages with “G.””

Discovery of Special Shadow Pokemon

This is the final stage of the storyline and it confirms Giovanni as the Team GO Rocket Boss.

Astounding work, %PLAYERNAME%! You’ve put a stop to Team GO Rocket’s plans for the time being and rescued a special Shadow Pokémon! It’s unlikely that Giovanni will give up this easily, so I hope we can rely on you to take down Team GO Rocket members as they appear around your area.
