Trainers,

Recently the Pokemon GO Game Master (GM) file received a slight update and we’ve observed a recent change of Mewtwo’s Base Capture Rate. Mewtwo’s Base Capture Rate is 6%, which is significantly higher than other Legendary BCRs.

Mewtwo’s high capture rate is due to it being available only via the EX Raid system.

Following is the GAME Master Code for Mewtwo, the bold text shows the Base capture rate

It Turns out it is not very difficult to catch Mewtwo because of its high base capture rate, make sure to have dozens of Golden Razz Berry and a great practice of Curve throws before entering an Ex Raid.
