Pokemon GO: GO Beyond is live – Here’s what changed

Trainers, Pokemon GO Beyond update is now live and has brought up a lot of exciting changes and challenges with it, The update includes Seasonal Spawns, Berries update, XP Rebalance, Buddy update and much more…

GO Beyond Seasons

As a part of Pokemon GO Beyond update, Seasons have arrived in Pokemon GO. A Brand new way of experiencing Pokemon GO. Each season in Pokemon will last for 3 months.

• Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and appearing in raids depending on the season.
• Based on what hemisphere you’re in, you can find different Pokémon appearing in the wild each Season.
• Different forms of Deerling will be appearing in the wild depending on which hemisphere you’re in.
• In-game events will be themed based on the Season they occur in.

 The Season of Celebration

The first season, The Season of Celebration begins on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. local time and will be till March 1, 2021.

Season Increased Spawns

Different Pokemon will be appearing in the wild according to the hemisphere you’re in, here’s the list of increased spawns for this season.

Seasonal Egg Hatches

Eggs have also changed with the change in Season. Different Pokemon will be hatching from the eggs.

2KM – Growlithe and Wingull

5KM – Baltoy and Ducklett

Adventure Sync 5KM – Shinx

GO Beyond Level 40

As a part of Pokemon GO Beyond, A rebalanced levelling system that includes a level cap increase to 50 is now live in Pokemon GO and to GO beyond level 40 you will require few additional tasks to complete.

XP Rebalance

To help trainers to level up with little ease, A new XP Rebalance has been taken place and is now live for everyone worldwide as a part of GO Beyond update.

You will now observe a difference of XP earned from all the activities especially when you will make a Excellent throw 😉

Berries update

Berries are now more effective with this new rebalance and feeding a berry at Gym Pokemon will nest you 30XP and 30 Stardust.

Silver Pinap Berry

Silver Pinap Berries will reward you with extra candies. The reward for Silver Pinap is now changed to 2.3x instead of 2x.

1st Stage Pokemon – 7 Candies
2nd Stage Pokemon – 11 Candies
3rd Stage Pokemon – 23 Candies

Nanab Berry

Nanab berries are now buffed and according to PokeMiner Game master report, Nanab Berries will not completely stop the Pokemon movements and attack.

Buddy Pokemon update

Buddy Pokemon are also part of this update. The Buddy emotion affection points have changed and will be more affective with all the buddy activities.

Battle Together with Buddy

Now you can earn 2 additional hearts for Battling together with Buddy and 5 more when the buddy is in excited mood or when Poffin is used.

Candy XL

In order to power-up Pokémon beyond Level 40, you will require XL Candy and Stardust and minimum level required to obtain XL candy is level 40.

GO Battle League changes

A Brand new ranking system and lots of exciting rewards have been introduced with this update in GO Battle League.

• 24 ranks, with the top four ranks having all-new names and corresponding badges.
• A new reward structure, which will give Trainers more opportunities to earn exclusive rewards through ranking up.
• Rewards will be tied to the theme of the current Season.
• GBL seasons will occur in tandem with the overarching Seasons and will rotate formats on the same three-month schedule.

Some of the Exciting rewards which you will earn:

On reaching level 10 you will receive 1,50,000 as stardust reward along with other rewards.
